You should get medicare but I believe its a two year wait from the effective date. It took me longer than two years to win my case with SSDI so I had medicare coverage immediately. Hope this helps....

You are talking about Part B. I'd say yes! If you are retired or have Tricare and VA (no way of knowing from your profile page), you need it to maintain Tricare anyway and Part B gives you a blanket...
